This calendar is a collaborative community project that was created as part of the Whatcom Tree Festival, which was hosted by Whatcom Million Trees Project in 2025. The photos were taken here in Whatcom County by photographers who submitted photos of special trees and stories about them to the “Treasured Trees of Whatcom County Photo Contest”. The community then voted for their favorites, which you can enjoy here as the months go by!

All proceeds support the mission of Whatcom Million Trees Project: To plant & protect over one-million trees locally while connecting individuals, businesses and policymakers to the immense value of trees and forests. We aim to build hope and empowerment to address climate & biodiversity crises and thereby enhance our community’s health & resilience.
